All of our wares are upcycled from real glass bottles. Linda Mitchell and her husband, Greg, are perfectionists, so each bottle will be as close to perfect as possible. They all have rubber feet so they won't scratch your table top. After many years of experimenting on various bottles, these two artists have come to know with a fair degree of certainty what bottles will melt perfectly and what won't. Obviously, bottle with paper labels won't work. The interesting thing is in the paint on the bottles. Some bottle paints are ceramic based and others are latex based. The ceramic paint melts fine, but the latex doesn't melt well at all. And you can't tell which is which until the melting begins.
